I experienced distance learning during Covid-19. It was my freshman and sophomore year of high school and something I liked about it is that I was able to create my own schedule for the most part. However, something I didn't like about it was the fact that I had to stay home that entire time and have little to no social interaction. Honestly having no social interaction for that long made me a little bit awkward when we were ready to come back to school lol. Something I would do as a teacher for distance learners is have everyone exchange contact info and make a group chat together, and I would also have a designated time in class for everybody to talk about their day or how they are feeling.  From my understanding, an OER is learning resources online that are accessible to anyone. Blog Journal #8

I really enjoyed doing the Web Design assignment. I've never created a website before so it was a first for me and I had a lot of fun doing it. I don't have any artistic abilities but designing this website allowed me to be creative in a different way which was almost cathartic. As for design principles, I utilized the white space and proportion for photos or large pieces of text. I wouldn't say I disliked anything about this assignment, but if I had to pick something then I guess I would say it was very time consuming.
