I experienced distance learning during Covid-19. It was my freshman and sophomore year of high school and something I liked about it is that I was able to create my own schedule for the most part. However, something I didn't like about it was the fact that I had to stay home that entire time and have little to no social interaction. Honestly having no social interaction for that long made me a little bit awkward when we were ready to come back to school lol. Something I would do as a teacher for distance learners is have everyone exchange contact info and make a group chat together, and I would also have a designated time in class for everybody to talk about their day or how they are feeling.  From my understanding, an OER is learning resources online that are accessible to anyone. I really enjoyed doing the Web Design assignment. I've never created a website before so it was a first for me and I had a lot of fun doing it. I don't have any artistic abilities but designing this website allowed me to be creative in a different way which was almost cathartic. As for design principles, I utilized the white space and proportion for photos or large pieces of text. I wouldn't say I disliked anything about this assignment, but if I had to pick something then I guess I would say it was very time consuming.
